Named after the Songtaizong Chunhua reign title of the Northern Song Dynasty,Chunhua County is locted in the cehter of Shanxi and  northern shore of the Wei River . It has the fine reputation. Of the Loess Highlands’ “the Green Pearl”, 75 kilometers away from the provincial capital Xi'an the Xianyang 65 kilometers. County-wide governs 5 towns and 10 townships and has a total population of 190,900,total area 983.8 square kilometers.                                     

    Long-drawn-out history  During the Neolithic Age6,000-7,000 years ago, the China ancients  dwelled here, hunting reclamation.     Abundant natural resources   The county-wide land area is 1,475,700 Chinese acres, the cultivated area 535,000 Chinese acres, the forest land area 445,000 Chinese acres, the natural pasture 326,000 Chinese acres, the forest and grass coverage fraction 43.9%,  the potential wild mountain wilderness slope area 115,000 Chinese acres , plain terrace 20,000 Chinese acres. The main mineral resources include: more than 100,000,000 tons of limestone ,more than 23,000,000 tons of coal ,over5,000,000 tons of pottery clay, as well as the Hangaozu palace water source dating from more than 2000 years ago - imperial spring,  which is the sodium bicarbonate magnesium mineral water, whose discharge is 150 cubic meters every day. It contains  27 kinds of beneficial human body's trace elements, including the strontium, the lithium, the zinc, the iodine, the phosphorusand has the high economical development value.                   

    Quite developed Agricultural production  Chunhua County is a productive base of apples, flue-cured tobacco, raising livestock,in which the apple is the first leading industry.  The total area amounts to 400,000 Chinese acres, the ultimate output 450,000 tons to make Chunhua County advance into “the national one hudred major fruit  productive Counties” and “ten  Shanxi main fruit productive  counties” the ranks. “Chunhua”brand   red Fuji apple is evaluated “the Chinese famous fruit”.
